Radiant Heat
Radiant heat is a type of heat transferred by electromagnetic waves, similar to light. This is why we feel the sun’s warmth even though there’s no direct contact. When a cloud blocks the sun, the radiant heat waves are interrupted, causing us to feel colder even though the air temperature hasn’t changed. It’s like turning off a light switch – you’re still in the same room, but the absence of radiant warmth makes a big difference.
